There's a new audio magazine out that looks very promising. I'm always on the look out for good audio reviews, and have relied on Sound and Vision Magazine, Tracks Magazine (now defunct) and now Paste Magazine for audio recording, CD and DVD reviews. Each of these have/had their strengths and weaknesses. I enjoyed Tracks the most, but it was swallowed by Paste. S&V has veered down the road of high end audio devices, and really has lost me recently.
The new Playback online magazine, published by Shure, looks promising. It's low on advertising but high on music reviews. The first issue is "on the stands", per se, and I recommend a look if you have the same interests in diverse, but really good, music.
Anyone else out there have any suggestions for well thought out music reviews that are reliably written?
